About nasen

nasen (National Association for Special Educational Needs) is a membership charity organisation that supports all education practitioners. We provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD), resources, advice, information and much more to enable all staff to meet the needs of all their pupils.

nasen leads on a number of programmes, including the Whole School SEND (‘WSS’) Consortium, a group of individuals and organisations committed to improving provision and outcomes for children and young people with SEND. Through WSS, nasen delivers the Universal Services contract for the Department for Education to support schools and settings to identify and meet needs of pupils with a view to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. We also work with a wide range of educational settings and organisations, both nationally and internationally, to support their offers for learners with SEND.

About the role

nasen is looking to recruit a Programme Assistant to join their busy Programmes Team. It is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is a confident communicator, works collaboratively, has a can-do attitude, and enjoys being part of a small team.  

The Programme Assistant role is pivotal in the Programmes Team. You will deliver a diverse mix of project and event support activities, while under the coordination of a Senior Project Manager, to support the Programmes Team on a range of day to day administrative tasks.
